Policies, Rules and Regulations

  • Sago Networks, LLC & Sago Broadband, LLC ("Sago") reserves the right to exclude anyone from the facility, with or without cause and with or without notice. Anyone requested to leave the Premises must peacefully do so immediately.
  • Customers bringing in equipment must notify in advance via phone or email. Ticket will be opened.
  • Customers with a full rack, cage or suite, are allowed 4 badges with service. Additional badges are provided at $15 each.
  • Customers with less than a full rack of co-location space must be escorted and supervised by Sago personnel while in the facility.
  • Customers removing equipment must inform the NOC as Sago Networks keeps track of customers equipment in Ubersmith. (monitoring)
  • Customers that do not have a valid government issued photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, State ID) are not permitted on the premesis. Sago Networks collects copies of government issued ID for all authorized persons.
  • Customers must inform Sago Networks of whom in their organization are permitted to access their equipment in Sago Networks facilities.
  • If a person is not on an authorized contact list for that organization, that person will not be granted access without first contacting the Point-Of-Contact and obtaining authorization.
  • All Visitors are subject to constant surveillance while on the Premises.
  • By attempting to enter the Premises, Visitors are consenting to reasonable search of themselves and their possessions.
  • All Customers and Visitors agree to report any violation of these Rules and Regulations, or any other suspicious or improper activity to Sago.
  • Visitors may not be under the influence of any alcohol, illegal drugs or other intoxicants.
  • Visitors must carry proper identification with them at all times while on the Premises. Falsifying or withholding ones identity or refusing to cooperate with security personnel is a violation of these Rules.
  • Customers and Visitors are solely responsible for their personal belongings and property while on the Premises. Sago assumes no liability for missing, lost, or stolen property of any Customer or Visitor, and Customers and Visitors agree to hold Sago, its employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, and affiliate companies harmless for and from any claims arising out of missing, lost or stolen property.
  • Check In/Check Out: Upon entering Sago Facilities, you will be greeted at the front desk by a Security Officer. You must present a valid photo ID and receive a visitor's badge. This badge must be worn at all times. You must also remember to check out with Security when you leave the building.
  • Smoking: No smoking in the building or on the property except for the designated smoking area. Please see Security for the location. Chewing tobacco is also prohibited on the data center floor.
  • Food and Drink: All food and beverages are banned on the data center floors. Food and beverages may be served in designated areas only.
  • Cell Phones: Cellular phones may not be used on the data center floor due to potential EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) and RF Interference. Cell phones may be used in the front offices and Common areas.
  • Cameras: Cameras are not permitted at Sago without prior approval. Visitors, clients or guests are to request a Photo Application form and the application must be approved prior to any photos being taken.
  • Floor Tiles: At no time may visitors, clients or guests remove the floor tiles on the data center. Should the need arise to get under the data center floor, contact a Sago agent and they will assist you.
  • Safety Issues: No children under the age of 16 are allowed on the Data Center Floor. Open toed shoes are not permitted on the Data Center Floor.
  • Additional Caveats: Touching, inspection, documenting or any form of tampering with equipment is strictly prohibited. Persons seen engaging in such activity will be reported to Security and may be subject to expulsion from the facility and possible arrest and prosecution.

Leased Area & Premises

  • The following is intended to clarify customer right of access on 24/7 basis to the Common Areas and all Customer Licensed Areas (racks, cabinets, cases, square footage colo space) within the facility:
  • Access to Customer Leased Areas does not include the Riser Pathways.
  • Customer use of Riser Pathways requires separate written approval by Sago (it is the same approval process for conduit installation in the facility).
  • Sago personnel (and subcontractors) shall have unrestricted access on an ongoing as-needed basis to affected Customer Leased Areas in order to build-out and maintain effective operation of entire Facility.
  • All personnel/subcontractors accessing Riser Pathways abutting Customer Leased Areas shall maintain adequate liability insurance for the benefit and safety of Customer Equipment within affected Leased Areas underlying Riser Pathways in which any construction or maintenance work is performed.
  • Customer will not jeopardize Services or damage property of other customers, Sago or the Premises in any manner.
  • Customer will take precautions to protect the Premises and nearby equipment belonging to other customers. This includes floor, wall, and telecommunication equipment protection while moving Equipment and notifying Sago of any major rearrangements of Equipment, drilling, power work, and similar potentially disruptive work.
  • Customer will follow good cleanliness practices. All trash must be disposed of daily at Customer’s expense. Any trash or empty boxes not disposed of by Customer is subject to removal by Sago with any associated charges borne by Customer.
  • Nothing may be stored outside of the assigned rack or colo space within the Leased Area.
  • Combustible or hazardous material may not be stored in Leased Area or elsewhere on the Premises.
  • All Equipment must be installed within the assigned telecom rack footprint (i.e. UPS units, spare equipment).
  • Customer is responsible for the termination of the power and signal cabling in its Equipment.
  • Customer will follow normal telecommunications industry standards with regards to equipment installation and removal in a central office environment. Sago standards are to be followed for connection of cables that interface or cross-connect with Sago or any other carrier equipment or panels within the Premises. All installations are subject to approval by Sago and to the terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement.
  • Permanent or extended use of extension cords is strictly prohibited.
  • Customer will not jeopardize Sago’s or any other customer’s ability to conduct business in any manner.
  • All local, state, and federal laws shall be complied with.
  • Customer will follow Sago sign-in procedures at all times. Subject to the requirements of the Agreement, Customer shall have access to its Equipment and Leased Area on a 24/7 basis. Customer must coordinate its first visit to a the Premises with Sago‘s operations department.
  • If Sago notifies Customer in writing of a violation of the Co-location Rules, or any other unsafe or unacceptable situation or practice, the Customer must correct the problem within seven (7) days or provide a written plan for correction to Sago’s satisfaction and proposed completion date. If the problem is not resolved in seven days or within a longer time frame agreed upon by Sago; then Sago will have the option of either (i) correcting the problem at Customer’s expense, or (ii) taking such remedial action as provided for in the Co-location Agreement, including without limitation disconnecting power and signal connections from Customer’s Equipment.
